Ms. Carter, a Partner at the Troy, Michigan office of Bodman LLP, represents clients involved in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters, contract matters, real property matters and construction matters. Ms. Carter also has experience with labor and employment law, employment litigation and employment counseling.
Ms. Carter was recognized as a Rising Star in Michigan Super Lawyers 2009, and again in 2010, under Business Litigation.
Before joining Bodman, Ms. Carter clerked for Hon. Theodore Z. Davis, presiding judge of the General Equity Division for the Superior Court of New Jersey.
Ms. Carter is Immediate Past President of the Wolverine Bar Association, and currently serves on the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association's Board of Directors. She is a member of the Michigan Supreme Court's Solutions on Self-Help Task Force, established in May 2010 by Chief Justice Marilyn J. Kelly, and is secretary of the Board of Directors for Volunteers of America-Michigan.
Ms. Carter was honored by DBusiness Magazine in its September-October 2010 edition under its special feature, "30 in their Thirties: Business Leaders of Tomorrow... Today".
