2012 NATIONAL SUMMIT OF BLACK WOMEN LAWYERS

The Black Women Lawyers' Association of Chicago invites you to join its 2012 National Summit for Black Women Lawyers and 25th Anniversary Celebration, April 12-14, 2012. The National Summit is a three-day event capturing the variety and experience of black women in the legal profession. Meet and network with lawyers and professionals from across the country, earn CLE credit, and celebrate in style at the BWLA 25th Anniversary Gala.

NBA Region VI Regional Conference

Michigan's Historically Black Bar Associations invite you to attend the 2012 National Bar Association Region VI Conference on May 18, 19, and 20, 2012, at the beautiful campus of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Auburn Hills.

The conference's theme is "Lawyers as Leaders: The Black Attorney in Law & Society." It includes panel discussions; seminars; trips to local landmarks; our Regional Martin Luther King Jr. Drum Major for Justice Essay and Oratory Contest for high school students; the D. Augustus Straker Bar Association's Corporate Counsel Breakfast featuring Joseph K. West, Executive Director of the Minority Corporation Counsel Association; and our President's Dinner honoring NBA Past Presidents the Honorable Dennis Archer, Harold Pope, Reginald Turner, and Sharon McPhail. Daryl Parks, President of the National Bar Association, will host the President's dinner.

Plant A Tree In Detroit With The WBA
