State Bar Young Lawyers Section and WBA Sponsor Mock Trial for SKIP
Volunteers Needed!!!
The WBA and the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyers Section are sponsoring a mock trial presentation in conjunction with the Michigan chapter of SKIP, Inc. (Save Kids of Incarcerated Parents). The mock trial will take place on Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 9 am until 12 pm at the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice, 1441 St. Antoine Street, Detroit, MI 48226.
We are asking WBA members and others to volunteer as attorney coaches for the participating SKIP students and as jurors. The Mock Trial is based on the movie, Madagascar II. 2012 NATIONAL SUMMIT OF BLACK WOMEN LAWYERS
The Black Women Lawyers' Association of Chicago invites you to join its 2012 National Summit for Black Women Lawyers and 25th Anniversary Celebration, April 12-14, 2012. The National Summit is a three-day event capturing the variety and experience of black women in the legal profession. Meet and network with lawyers and professionals from across the country, earn CLE credit, and celebrate in style at the BWLA 25th Anniversary Gala.
